So the domain name of this site ends in .net
Now I'm guessing because .com or .co.uk is either taken or more expensive?
Does having .net or .uk instead of co.uk or .com make much difference?

They will send numerous e-mails reminding u to renew.
You can also auto-renew.
What type of site are u setting up?
